Working across many computers it’s very important for us to keep all docs in sync.Moreover we carry a lot of data on our USB drive which also need to be in sync with the parent computer.
It is hard to find a simple and small utility for folder synchronization as many of these software are fully loaded commercial suites.Also there are many free utilities for the task . Mirror is such a tiny Freeware utility and does the job well.
Mirror Portable Backup and Synchronization Tool
The utility is one of the smallest I have ever downloaded-just 88KB.This has a very simple and straightforward user interface.
The operation is very simple.Just select the source and target folder which you need to keep in sync.Once you have selected folders,just press Mirror.The folders will be synchronized.
The application does not need a formal installation and is compatible with all removable media like USB hard drives and pen drives,portable media players .The application also support automatic synchronization.
