Sending a Google Wave invite to others is pretty simple.Once you login to Google Wave you will see a message saying-“Invite others to Google Wave”.

Click on the message and a window will appear which looks like following image.

Once you Enter the email id ,click ‘Add to Invitation List’ and Google will send them an invitation for wave after sometime,not immediately.

Mostly people search for Creative Commons photos to complement their blog post/presentations/illustrations and so on and their preferred way of searching such photos is Flickr.com as it directly and dedicatedly provides a creative commons search at http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons/ .

Till now Google image search didn’t have any options to search only CC photos but it’s now implemented by Google .So here is how to find a Creative Commons Photos on Google Image Search.

Open Google Image Search and Click on Advanced Image Search as shown in following figure.

Now you get the next screen which shows options to filter results.Type your search term in the top box.Now under the usage rights tab,select the license.And click Search

Now it will show results after filtering based on the licensing selected by you.

It's Official:Google introduces Google Chrome OS

It was not a secret news that Google has been doing something regarding releasing an Operating System.Many speculations were ended when it released Android,a platform for mobile devices.But the cat is now out of the bag and Google it actually going to give us an OS called Chrome OS –based on the popular browser by Google itself.

From the details it seems that it’s not going to be a full blown OS like Windows but an OS which can just do your tasks without bells and whistles.

Here are main features of the OS which we can hopefully see in later half of 2010.

Based on a Linux kernel.
Open source,,lightweight and targeted at Netbooks.
Will run on both x86 as well as ARM chips
Speed, simplicity and security are the key aspects.

Many of the tasks we do on our computer such as a office applications,or image editing can be done online.Google addresses this fact and that’s why it seems that it will not include such things to make it a lightweight OS.

Now “Undo” on Mail too!

Almost all softwares which involve some kind of editing have “undo” button/command just to revert to the original if we don’t like the change.However emails, till now have been something like “unstoppable”-once you press send.You send a mail to your boss and then just after 2 seconds find a terrible spelling mistake.What next?

Till now there was nothing to stop that mail from being delivered to your boss but now Gmail gives you a “5 second” period during which you can just “Undo-send”.

Gmail labs looks much like a chemistry lab.They are always trying and testing new features.And their recent product is “undo send” which allows you to cancel sending a mail if you react fast-before 5 seconds.

If you press the undo button before 5 seconds, you will get a message that sending has been undone as shown below.

Gmail already has a feature which tries to check whether you are conscious enough to send a mail-actually made to prevent “Friday late night drunk mail ”.

Orkut stuffed with ads? Do you like it?

While it is no secret that Google is making a lot of money from displaying ads on orkut ,what bothers me is an excessive use of ads on many pages.Google recommends bloggers and webmasters to keep ads on their pages to a reasonable limit that does not annoys the user.

Here is one page which I got displaying 3 ad units.It was a chat application page and the page looks as if it has been specially created for displaying ads.

It has been long since Google started displaying ads on orkut and some users also say that it’s not annoying to them.Now what I think is ,one ad unit on the profile home page is fine.But see the following screenshot and then think what Google is doing with orkut.

As you can see the chat window seems to be shadowed by ads.To me this is all annoying.What do you think?

You can call from any mobile on land line phone.
If the system is not able to understand your call in two attempts,it will be transferred to a human operator.
