A week ago Google released Beta version 3 of its popular browser Google Chrome..This new version comes with support for extensions and themes.

Apart from simple eye candy enhancement on the homepage it supports themes and Google has launched Themes Gallery with more than 25 themes to select.Moreover it gets about 30% speed enhancement over already fast previous versions.

Google has launched Themes Gallery which can be installed only on Google Chrome version 3 or above.

When you are browsing through themes gallery on Google Chrome beta 3.xx,the installation of themes is a cake walk.Just click apply on any theme and it gets installed quickly.

The theme is also applied on the fly and No restart is needed.A notification is given that a new theme has been applied and a “back to default” button if you do not like the new theme.

It also gets a simple theme manager where you have options to get new themes or set the default one.

Home page Enhancement

Earlier you had a button “Remove thumbnails” .Now that has been removed and when you hover over a page thumbnail you get options either to remove it or make it sticky.You can also rearrange thumbnails as you like.

You also get “Recent activities” which is actually history and an “even more” tab.
